Same issue here.
Did what you propsed but did not resolved.
We tried different browsers with no luck.

No new user can register.
Users can only register only when clean talk is disabled.
That is after updating to the latest version.

Any ideas?

Its just that too many notifications come up.

I am having the same problem and I subscribed here if a solution is found.
Despite that, the plugin works perfectly.

A workaround I found is to re-create each gallery in another wpml language.
So, now each language has its own set of galleries.

The best thing would be to have the same galleries for all the languages.

Update:
Also noticed that every time the update button is clicked, the messages are re-imported.

Initially, there were 7 messages and now there are 12.

Reminder: after migration, eventhough the messages existed in the FEP tables they were not shown in the front-end. So, we tested the plugin by exchanging a couple of messages between us. These messages were shown up correctly.

And yes, everything was done by the book.

The interesting part here is that after re-migrating the database and re-did the plugin update procedure from scratch, a couple more messages were salvaged totaling 12 messages out of 2032.

Perhaps a restart or something is recommended or run some test code of yours directly to my database.

Ok, I did it again with the same results.
Selected the previous version from the dropdown box and clicked update.

After a little while, it prompted me to refresh the page and try again, just like the other times I did the same routine.
