Hi everyone – very silly solution. You have to turn on the mobile nav bar for it to show up, go to Appearance>Menus then at the bottom it says MENU SETTINGS. Make sure ‘Mobile Navigation’ is checked off in ‘Menu Settings’.

Odd that isn’t the default, but hey, it works now.

EDIT: The hovering “Pin It” button was part of the Pinterest Chrome extension.

The image border and drop shadow issues remain!!

One more thing! The image at

has a grey border, and gets a drop shadow when i hover over it. it also have a “pin it” button. how do i get rid of all that for this particular image?

Ok, fixed the blog reading issue, but the metaboxes persist — the “posted by” has a built in “|” that looks weird.

I would like for the little person icon next to the “posted by” to dissapear. I also need that “|” to dissapear.

Is CSS the way to go, or can I comment this stuff out in the PHP (if I even knew where to find it, ha)….

Actually, also, the metaboxes still leave a few typographic ticks when I paste in the CSS. Any other options for getting rid of that line?

Tell me, is this kind of thing just a CSS edit? I am seeing lots of suggestions that I also edit PHP pages. If it’s just a CSS edit, then this might be simpler than I think. But I don’t know how the CSS relates to the wordpress theme’s PHP and consequently I’m just terrified to do anything!! ??
