Same problem here when upgrading from 2.9 branch.
I could recognize that the problem here was with the “Podcasting Plugin by TSG”, version 2.3.9.1. Just moved the folder and WordPress automatically deactivated the plugin.
In version 2.3.10 this problem was solved.
