Thanks for the vague suggestion of “reading carefully the option on your own admin panel”, but that was truly unhelpful.

I went back to my admin panel, since I would like to make one of my static pages a post page, to “read carefully the options” in my won admin panel, and here are the options I see when I select a page (I saw no options in the manage pages list at all for this):

Custom Fields, Comments & Pings, Password Protect this page, Page Parent, Page Order and Page Author.

Can you be a little more specific on where we can find this information?

Just like everyone else, I have the same problem and have tried to sort it out through my server provider.

It only happens with the write/edit posts requests and nothing else. Also, sometimes it takes so long to post that I get a blank page at the end of publishing or saving, but my browser states it is done. When I check the blog, it is posted if I hit publish.

I have tried four different browsers, so that is not the issue. Was told it is a back end issue.

I don’t have many categories, so I don’t believe that to be the problem.

I use Adsense Manager plug in for this https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/adsense-manager/

It let’s you input code for widgets (not just adsense code) and also has inline support. Virtually anything you can put in the sidebar, there will also be the option to add it to posts in the editor via a drop down menu.

When you create your “Ad Unit” (again, it doesn’t have to be an add. it has taken every html and java code for me so far) simply choose on the left side “Yes” under the drop down for posts, instead of leaving it default.

Of all the things that have gone wrong with my 2.5 upgrade, the stats weren’t one of them. This is the plug in I am using. I had tried a different one previously, but found it a bit quirky. https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/stats/

I figured it out and forgot to readjust the post. LenK, you are right. It was an adsense plug in that never quite worked. I deactivated and now it’s fine.
