Thank you Angelo. I set pages up and added them to the fields in the location you pointed out.
Is there a way to have a link to the Edit Event page included with the single event display Page?
Sorry my question was not clear.
The user has edit_event permission already. What I am looking for is the actual link to edit the event. I am able to insert a link that allows a user to create the event. But later when the same user views the event, there is no link to make any edits. Where does the user go to make the edits?
Thank you
KeirThanks for the info. I will give that a shot. However I found I can log in to the admin page using my cell phone with wifi turned off. Im going to reset my router, clear cookies, reboot, cross my fingers and try again.
Thanks again.

In reply to: How do I get my admin toolbar visible in the editor?Well dang that is frustrating.
I also doubt opening a ticket will result in anything. They sure are making it difficult for me to continue using WP.
I don’t have a problem using the block editor but when they start removing tools I feel like they are developing for the lowest level of user.
Thanks for your response Joy!

In reply to: [Easy Forms for Mailchimp] Pre purchase questionHI Kevin. I was able to solve the issue by removing the label for the email address. The label was pushing the email field down so it no longer lined up with the submit button (inline form checkbox is checked).
Thanks for your response. I may end up buying the plugin anyway, just so I can mae the form prettier.

Ah, Yes! It seems wordpress is defaulting the “Link to” as None. Thanks so much!
I also figured out how to make this the default. Now I just have to go back and change a bunch of images…
thanks again!
Does anyone at foobox read these? How can I get help on my problem? I first posted this issue a month ago, and still no response.
Thanks!

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Question on Subscription IntegrationIts not the comment form I am asking about. I am asking about the registration form. I assumed that was for when people subscribe to my blog, But now Im thinking its for when someone registers as a user? Its kind of confusing. But I know that it wont work with the Jetpack Comments form.
Thanks!
Ok, Thanks very much. Is there a place I can add a feature request? This would be super useful to have. Why create an event if I can’t invite people to it?
Thanks again. So far I really like this plugin for all the other features.

In reply to: [Easy Testimonials] pre purchase question on adding additional image.Ah, sweet! I didn’t even consider doing that solution! Thanks so much!
Ok, For anyone interested I think I might be understanding whats going on.
I’m using the Mailchimp Social widget which modifies the comment field and removes the checkboxes for subscribing to the blog, and the comments even though they are checked to be visible in my dashboard settings.
I replied to a users comment and it likely auto subscribed me to my own blog.
But I’m open for feedback from anyone who has ideas.

In reply to: Portfolio functionality?I have a www.ads-software.com site. So It looks like I need a plugin.
But, when I go to Settings>Writing, I do have the option to enable Portfolios. Also when I deselect that checkbox I still have a dashboard menu item called Portfolio, but it uses a thumbtack icon. Apparently one of my other plugins may already be offering me the option to use their Portfolio option. I need to figure out whats creating that and see how I can use it. Or, get a Portfolio plugin,
What I expect is to be able to create a page for each portfolio category, with a parent page showing all portfolios. t would also be nice to update the contents of each portfolio using keywords. I’m just dreaming here. Is this how they are supposed to work?
The above workaround did not work. So once we reinstall jetpack the whole thing needs to be set up from scratch again? is this the best option at this point? Is there a way I can backup my jetpack settings before I delete?
Edit. made the change to a file a the wrong domain. after changing line 14 in the correct file things seem to be alright.

In reply to: New Inline Link Feature, I do not like!Andrew. I already have my affiliate links set to use the new tab checkbox in the wordpress link editor. thats not the problem. The problem is the latest update made it slightly harder to get to that checkbox. And now I have been told I should never use it.
How do I allow potential customers to click on link that takes them to an affiliate, while still allowing them to easily return to the blog post that sent them to the affiliate? If it’s a simple purchase then yes the back button works great. But if they browse the affiliate for a while then the back button becomes more burdensome.
So for all the people saying to not allow external links to open in a new tab, what is a solution to this?
Thanks
