Apologies @jdembowski
I think it’s right to fear retaliation for expressing a strong complaint. Hence, I choose to remain anonymous. At this point, even if I were to provide you with my website address, I would feel quite uneasy.
Regardless, I’m trying to find a workaround with a Custom CSS plugin. The mobile menu activates over the page container as opposed to the page itself, which makes it especially difficult to implement a solution.
It’s not a badge of honor to have 62 support tickets on one ‘Simple’ Banner. What’s worse is that you’re not actually fixing the banner itself, but you’re providing users with gimmicky workarounds through CSS.
You should be proud. I’ve used hundreds of plugins over the years, and this is the one time I’ve been so frustrated that I had to create an account on WordPress for the first time ever, just to tell the masses how it’s improper to charge money for simple functionality.
You may think it’s funny that a customer realized that his banner was covering their mobile website’s essential product search icon a week after installing it. It’s not funny to others.
