Christian, I found the issue. I checked the config.php file within the plugin & our settings were flipped back to “false”. Could any of the recent updates have done this? The only other person that would have access to do it would be me but I don’t remember adjusting this page since we set it up.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will check their flickr account to see if something changed. I am not completely sure when it happened as they monitor the site & just mentioned it to me last week. But I will keep you posted. Thank you.

In reference to: You may need to set your default Basic Thumbnails to use the “caption” template under Gallery > Other Options > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Thumbnails … Template. This is also what I was referring when I wrote custom template.

I do not see “Gallery Settings”. Is that in the pro version? If so let me know & I can grab that. In my version I do not see that. I have 7 other options on that page but thats not one of them.

@photocrati when I started using the plugin it was before the ATP so I left previous gallery posts as they were using the shortcodes.

If I switch over to ATP will that allow me to use the captions? If so I can definitely switch it over no problem at all.

But generally speaking the way I was using it was loading each album separately so that 1 thumbnail showed up on the main page in the compact view. Once clicked it would show multiple thumbnail photos (up to 20) that can be enlarged for viewing. And when I did add in a custom code to pull the caption that was showing up as well.

But if ATP solves all this than I can certainly switch over.

Guys, I was not sure if I should open up another post regarding this since we had some past dialog, but a couple questions/comments.

1) If you can let me know once the import feature is ready, I would certainly test it out. I have to list all the way back to 2008, so I am sure by the time it is ready I will still be in the middle of posting.

2) Is there a way when I choose the event date to change the default times? It always is at 8am start, 5pm finish. I would like to change that to default to 9am & 6pm if possible. It would help speed up my process a bit.

3) Also is there any existing code out there that makes the end date calendar jump to the start date? For example when I go back & list an event in September 2012 for the start date, the end date still says March 2013. Is there anything pre-existing that will make the end date jump back to September 2012? That would also speed things up a bit if this was solved for anyone else in the past.

The widget styling & carousel are all setup at: https://www.verdipro.com/usgovbid. Just now adding in about 400 past events manually. From what I have seen you cannot import a csv or anything until 3.0 right?

@roblagatta thanks for the reply. We actually had custom coded a past events widget pulling the events from the events system & putting them into a horizontal carousel. Works great with your current system. Thanks!

I think it was my host. They did some changes unrelated to wordpress yesterday & after those changes it started working instantly when I ran a backup. I am going to keep an eye on it, but mine is working again.
