Hello Gary,

the problem is solved. It was my theme. In the style.css-file, the #content had a margin-left of 179px (which is exactly the size of the left sidebar to put it close to it). I changed it to 0px and added ” float: right;” – that′s it.

I tried the Twenty Ten theme. It must have been that theme which produced the two boxes, in my theme the hmtl-code only shows one <!– WP Biographia v3.3.0 –> box.

And, if I expand the lenght of the box by puting more text in it, the whiteplace stays the same. So, there is no second “hidden” bio-box, as I expected first as the reason for the whitespace.

I disabled all plugins (except yours), but the problem stays.

Don′t have any idea what′s wrong, for example like here at the end of this post:

final remark: both bio boxes are made by your plugin. The first one (which I can see in my theme) with the german headline is because I changed the words in the Content-Tab of your plugin to german. But the plugin produces another box with “About the Author”.

Oh, I was too fast, the plugin was′nt the problem.

I changed the theme as you suggested, and then I saw: Two (!) bio-boxes showed up below the post. One with the headline “About the Autor” (so I guess this is made by your plugin) and above this exactly the same bio-box, but with the german headline, so I guess this is made by my german wordpress installation. And in my theme (the ad clerum one) it is not shown, except the white place it tooks.

So, where to disable the second bio-box?

Thank′s a lot. Any recommendation for a substitude for this plugin? And hey, the “magic combination of good coffee, free Wi-Fi and somewhere to charge his laptop” also works for me.
