I imported the json file. Now we just wait ??

Is this the same update that came through WP yesterday? If so, yes I have downloaded it. Are there any changes I need to make to it to block on the front end?

Congratulations on a successful plugin because the other day it managed to bounce over 2,400 attempts at breaking into my site. I got paranoid so I changed the maximum attempts before blocking to “1”. In the XML-RPC log from the other day, I see mostly <methodName>wp.getUsersBlogs</methodName>. What does that mean?

Today, I have about 20 attempts under Admin Area from a Russian Federation IP bouncing around my plugin folders and files, all showing “extra” as the result. Does this mean this IP is not being blocked right away?

I’ve been testing it about a month now. So far, so good. Actually, very good. My site is the target of a malicious attack yesterday. Over 2,000 attempts trying to break in, still ongoing today. When I view the log, most attempts are under the XML-RPC. What does this mean? Thank you.

I completely deleted it. Reinstalled it and activated it. The messages are still the same. I’m going to delete it again and check by FTP to see if it left behind any files.

I deactivated and reactivated and they’re still the same.

Thank you for that. Where can I find all of the original content messages? Like I said above, in the blink of an eye most of them changed to “Congratulations, the administrator has approved your application…..”

When you go to Dashboard – Affiliates – Settings – Messaging – Content. Now, when I look at affiliate_application_pending, over to the right under Content I see Congratulations, the administrator has approved your application. You have one more step to complete before you can begin generating income! The administrator has specified the terms of your agreement, which you will need to review and agree to.<br /><br/>

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I uploaded the new beta plugin and imported the json file. I got one error message when I saved everything:

Unable to write /homepages/30/d560012174/htdocs/clickandbuilds/wp-content/plugins/.htaccess, /homepages/30/d560012174/htdocs/clickandbuilds/wp-content/themes/.htaccess. Please check the permission. Or please refer to How to fix permission troubles? to set them manually.

No problem! When I tried to upload the plugin zip I get an error:

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. Plugin install failed.

What about the new beta plugin zip file? I tried to upload the plugin and got an error message that no valid plugin was found. I’m supposed to deactivate the running plugin first, right?

I was able to upload the json file to my current plugin, not the new one. I got the same error message as before: Unable to write …/clickandbuilds/wp-content/plugins/.htaccess, …/clickandbuilds/wp-content/themes/.htaccess. Please check permission.

Before I go any further, I need to get this new plugin downloaded!

I downloaded both zips. Question – I’m supposed to import json.zip into what?
