That happened so long ago, and its a business site so I needed it fixed right away, so I had an expert fix it.

I’m not using any minify plugins. I’ve been searching for weeks on how to fix it, I ended up removing the footer (which was black) so that the whole page is now white.

The site is down until these issues are fixed so I can’t provide a link and I don’t see anywhere to attach an image. What it looks like is the background color of the footer on the homepage is taking over the entire shop page. However, it doesn’t look like that on the cart and checkout pages where there is a white background with the black background of the footer at the bottom of those pages.

With all due respect, that doesn’t answer my question. Zerif supports Woocommerce but there’s no documentation on it, even at the link you provided that I’ve viewed dozens of times.

I’m still stumped….I’ve been searching diligently for an answer! What I’ve figured out is that the background is taking the background of the footer on just the shop page, its white on the cart and checkout page which is perfect. I saw someone suggested this CSS in another forum about the container being shoved to the left margin:

It moved the container from the left, but now its at the top margin. Grrrrr. I still have the black background; can’t see anything on that page except the image, all the words are unreadable in the black.

Thank you, Marius. I’ve changed most of the sections but haven’t had any issues when there has been an update. So, let me get this straight….in the front-page.php, every section that I have changed, I need to replace what you said?

This leads to another question. I recently created a child’s theme, which I did to prevent one of my forms from being tampered with every time there is an update. Do I need to download ALL php files from the parent theme to the child’s theme? Otherwise, the home-page.php that you mentioned is still in the parent theme.

I went into the Pro demo and saw that a slider was available, but no background video.

I’ve heard about child themes. So when WP updates, the child theme won’t be updated? Or how does that work? Does this mean there are two different websites to modify? I’m confused ??

I couldn’t wait any longer so I got rid of the font plugin I was using (WP Edit). I assumed it was an issue. I am trying the “Easy Google Fonts” plugin. Its more difficult to use. If I have problems, I’ll be back.

Exact same thing is happening to me. My logo is now so small one can barely read the words. I’ve tried to enlarge the logo four times, now its 800 x 600 and its still showing really small.
