Well, I just figured-out to use CSS to hide images for all categories but I’d really like to only hide images on sub-categories and style them differently than their parents.

Nevermind, I had to change some settings in my theme.

I’d like to keep it open so that I can post the answer if that’s okay. So far, a bug in the ECP code has been discovered as a result and a fix is being worked on.

I decided to by the pro version so that I could be sure I get a response … client site that’s almost complete except for this problem.

When I clicked on New Discussion, the first thing I noticed is that I needed to disable all of the plugins first then change to the Twenty Eleven theme. I tried both and the problem only went away when I switched to the Twenty Eleven theme. Obviously, it’s something with the theme. I’m sure I’ll get some help on the Modern Tribe Support site.

Okay, gotcha! I understand now. In other words, this problem obviously existed BEFORE I ever attempted to install Duplicator. Thus, I didn’t break anything by trying to install it.

I’m just going to leave it alone since the host obviously doesn’t trust WordPress security and I don’t want to do anything to compromise their setup and anger them.

H-m-m-m, can you believe there’s not duplicator directory in the plugins directory yet the problem clearly exists.
