I am having the same problems after updating to 3.5, but the problem only appears in one of my websites (both upgraded). Is it possible that it is a theme issue?

The same problem occurs with the Contactform7-Plugin. There I’ve got the same problems with the backend (missing parts).

Do you have any ideas why it only happens to certain WP-installations?

Here is my solution: It was a php memory error. I talked to my web hosting agency and they switched to another database where I’ve got more php memory. And now everything is working again.

Maybe that helps you.

Yes, same problem with Windows 7, WP 3.4.1 and Firefox. Do you have any ideas?

Hey there,

I changed the “and” to “und” in the index.php in the plugin folder:
themes/ourtuts/index.php.
In line 22 you change the “and” to “und”.

But how did you change the “days” to “Tage”. How did you open the jquery.countdown.js to edit it?
