In reply to: NextGEN Gallery Busted !?!Ok, so apparently I found a line of code on the wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-add-gallery (or the addgallery.php) that was an inline style that was causing the blank page:
<div id="slider" class="wrap" style="display: none;">
Why was this even there? Also, I still can’t get the Flash Uploader to work…

I have been trying to use NextGEN Gallery – which by the way is a sweet gallery plugin, to which there is almost no comparable plugin – versions 1.9.2 and versions 1.9.1 with my WordPress 3.3.1 install with no luck. The Plugin seems to be functioning almost correctly, save for the ‘Add Gallery/Images’ page or ‘Upload Images’ link, which seems to be going to a blank white page inside of the Admin/Dashboard.
Underneath the Gallery/Overview the ‘Check Theme Comparability’ reports the following error: Missing the call to wp_head() in your theme, contact the theme author
I have tried over 10 different Themes with no luck (I even tried the blank Theme Starkers), and I have checked my header to make sure that the <?php wp_head(); ?> is there in front of the </head> tag; it is!
A couple of months ago I installed the NextGEN Gallery 1.9.1 on the https://www.burghbears.org website, and it worked fine with every Theme and WordPress 3.3.1 (and still does). So, I even tried downloading it from that website, and uploading to my new website to alleviate the problem; it didn’t work!
Has something changed to which I’m unaware? Why would the plugin report the following error: Missing the call to wp_head() in your theme, contact the theme author, when the code is there? More weirdly know, the Plugin seems to be functioning almost correctly, save for the ‘Add Gallery/Images’ page or ‘Upload Images’ link, which seems to be going to a blank white page inside of the Admin/Dashboard.
Help?
I’m having the problem… I seem to be able to do everything, but the ‘Add Gallery/Images’ option under ‘Gallery’ is completely blank; I also get the error: Missing the call to wp_head() in your theme, contact the theme author. The code in front of the </head> is correct and I have tried about six different themes so far…
So, I have tried both NextGen gallery 1.9.1 and 1.9.2, and I have even downloaded the 1.9.1 from another WordPress website that is currently working for me, and uploaded the plugin, and I’m experiencing the same problem. WEIRDO!
Any help would be most appreciated.

In reply to: How do I do a News Blog, Forum and Wiki All-In-One?So if I went the plugin route, the forum would be accessible/located at https://www.triweb.com/forum…
the wiki would be accessible/located to outside viewers at https://www.triweb.com/wiki…
and I can manage the forum, wiki, pages and add my news release posts to my blog at https://www.triweb.com/wp-admin/index.php, is that correct?

In reply to: How do I do a News Blog, Forum and Wiki All-In-One?Thanks Samuel B, I thought I could but but what I’m confused upon is the mechanics of how to set up a blog and a forum in the same space, and to make all three at separate sub-domains.
With simple-press will it allow a separate forum, and a separate news blog? I have never made two blog in one WordPress space, let alone a blog and a forum in one space… is this possible? I know that some people have posts on here about how to run two blogs with one install, but I’m not sure if that is what I need to do, then just convert one of those to a forum…
Also, if my website is named https://www.tr123web.com, will the mentioned plugins be condusive to separate space requests that I can point/redirect to https://forum.tr123web.com, https://wiki.tr123web.com and https://news.tr123web.com?
This would have to be a Multisite install, correct? I was reading the documentation here.

In reply to: WeBlog.com?I’m just shocked that I’m not finiding any buzz at all online about the https://www.weblog.com website being down for days, their service in general, and there is no vehicle of communication what so ever; is that odd?

In reply to: WeBlog.com?Right now I’m simply trying to export two years worth of blog entries from the https://www.weblog.com website, wherein my account is https://unbearable.weblog.com; I can’t do this because WeBlog has been down for many days with the following error: Error establishing a database connection.
Thanks for letting me know that they aren’t associated with WordPress; it is somewhat confusing when WeBlog’s administration panel is excactly the same as WordPress’ in appearance (as well as their resources, support links and everything else). Does anyone know if I can access/backup my last two years of blog posts by not going through their website (and maybe getting them through WordPress since it is the a multi site feature)?
I fully intented to move the blog to my own hosting server at https://www.vf20designs.com, and utilize WordPress to update the blog, then pursue legal action…
