I updated my AMP plugin today and am getting a similar error in the edit screen in WP. But when I check a post’s AMP page in the validator it comes back with no error.

I do not use Apache, I use NGINX.

I don’t read a blog for what might happen when I update a plugin, I read the Changelog for that plugin and I saw nothing mentioned about this. I just found that another of my sites has had no custom variable data recorded since the end of October. The PREVIOUS version of the plugin still records this data.

Here is what the Changelog for the plugin stated for the update that stopped tracking data (NO mention that custom variable data would no longer be tracked):

Fixes a possible JavaScript conflict within the tracking code.
Makes sure translations are loaded correctly.
Enhancements:

Improved UX for help texts in form.

I have the same issue on my site.

So you’re saying that including the attach to image option adds characters even thought they don’t show up as part of the tweet?

Nope, that doesn’t cache, believe me.

I *don’t* use query strings. But I can’t control other sites that use query strings to link to my site, which stresses my server since WP Supercache doesn’t cache those.

I don’t understand your fix. I have Custom Permalinks and am having trouble getting this sitemap plugin to work. What exactly did you do? What file did you have to delete?

It does not work. I use the Custom Permalinks plugin and I saw that someone found a solution to get these to work together but I couldn’t really determine WHAT that solution was.

Still haven’t figured this out. Step 4 of your instructions says this:

4. Build your sitemap for the first time or just submit the sitemapindex to all major search engines.

But it doesn’t say HOW to build your sitemap.

Just wanted to follow up to let you know that solution WORKED.
