In reply to: TimThumb Hack (was WordPress 3.2.1 vanilla is FAR from secure…)It seems to be similar to this topic raised yesterday – same malware but the security hole wasn’t thumb.php here if it was a clean install with no plugins/themes

Very interested to know if anyone’s found any (encrypted) links in the database?
Thank you

In reply to: Admin – Search Plugin page – hacked/exploitedThanks for the summary @psynix – I’ve now also updated timthumb.php.
It would be really helpful if you could post how you scan the database?
Many thanks

In reply to: Admin – Search Plugin page – hacked/exploitedI’ve had the same thing this evening.
My super helpful host (TSO) found things that shouldn’t have been in .htaccess and removed them. This seems to have solved the problem (hopefully) so might be worth you checking there for anything unusual.

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] Change fonts for entire Twenty Eleven siteHi Tony and thanks again!
I’ve had a look based on what you’ve said and think I understand the a bit more now (I also use Firefox/Firebug).
As a compromise we may leave all the sizes unchanged but are really keen to change the font type for H1, H2 and H3 for the whole site. Would this still require individual styling for each class based on where it’s used or is there an en-mass place I could do it? (hopeful)
Many thanks for helping

In reply to: D/base problems: More than one INDEX key was createdHi malevola
Thanks for getting back on this and sorry only just saw your reply
I did have duplicated keynames (with _2 after them like you say). I did manage to speak to a DBA at work and we dropped the duplicate indexes.
This was causing me problems when I tried to restore a database backup as it said that there were duplicate records …removing the duplicate indexes has fixed the problem.
They weren’t familiar with WordPress databases by the way (but very experienced DBA) so please feel free to add to this as it’s quite a tricky one for us beginners!
Thanks again

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0 Causes “Too Many Redirects” Error – Blog BrokenBTW Just added W3 Total Cache plugin which has really helped but know this is only patching up the real problems so very keen to get them sorted.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0 Causes “Too Many Redirects” Error – Blog BrokenThanks Matt, had no idea and yes my site is becoming slower and slower so this would help explain it.
Want to try and get it right this time so going to hold off any more changes until I know what a good structure would be. I’m keen to keep the postname as part of the structure but happy to do anything that will help speed it up so really grateful if you have any suggestions.
