In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi Yani.
I did not know that the support here was only volunteers and thought you worked for the plugin makers so thank you for all your patience and help.
I am going to try the restore site on a test site I have to see if the restore funcion part works, as with the list of hosting providers, the one I tried to migrate was not one on your list but most of my sites are with Hostinger which is on the list and I have premium hosting with then so does that mean I should have no issue with that hosting company?
You also mention plugins that may cause a problem. I build all my sites with Elememtor Pro and don’t use many third party plugins.
Do you have a list of the main plugins that All in one wp migration work with and do you know if ElementsKit is a plugin that is supported by your plugin.
Again sorry for the confusion in thinking you worked for the company and thank you for all your help.
I will let you know if the restore works on my test site.
Thank you VictorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi Yani.
I have never had to use the plugin yet to restore a website but I am worried about using the restore part of the plugin after my recent problem with trying to migrate a website.
I would still ask others on this forum to let us know if the migration or restore parts of the free version of this plugin has worked for them.
My websites are not complex or very large sites and if the plugin is flawed in the free version I think others should know before they rely on this plugin to backup their sites and then find out that they cannot restore their websites.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi Kim.
Sorry for the late reply
How all in one wp migration think 32mb is enough to migrate a site is enough is very bad.
I found online if you install this plugin it will raise your limit to 512mb.
(all-in-one-wp-migration-file-extension) it is made by the same company.
You could try this and see if it works for you and let me know if it does.
I tried it and the migration just got stuck on 0.00% and failed and it is not my internet speed.
As you can see above I have tried to resolve my migration problem with All in one wp migration and provided them with the link for the site I tried to migrate and their reply was (I am out of ideas)!
Whats worse is that I use the free version of this plugin to backup my websites and now I am worried that if I have a problem with one of my sites and try to restore it that may not work as well!!
That would be even worse, maybe others on this forum can let us know if migrating using the free version has worked for them and if they have also restored a site successfully using the free version of this plugin or should I find another way to backup my websites.
Good luck and let me know how you get on.
Cheers VictorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi again Yani
I have disabled all security and cashing plugins on both the source site https://www.goldenmoe.com/ and the new clean wordpress site https://www.cmo-athletics.com
The only extra thing I did was to install the plugin (all-in-One WP Migration Import file extention).
This increased the upload file size to 512mb as before that it said the maximum file size I could install was 32mb
However still when I try to import the site it remains at 0.00% and finally says (Unable to import.
My internet connection is very good and I never have problems uploading or downloading large files
Thank you VictorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi Yani I will try that tomorrow and let you know how I get on. I also asked if the problem may be caused by the hosting provider above not being on your list of hosting providers as far as I know or is that not an issue?
Thanks again VictorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHello again Yani.
I tried as you suggested and tried another browser and also incognito mode.
The hosting provider that my client used to buy the domain and set up the wordpress site is https://www.mijndomein.nl/ which does not appear on your list of supported hosting providers. Do you think this is the problem and do I have any other options.
Thanks again VictorForum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import file sizeHi Yani, thank you for your fast reply.
I have installed all in one wp migration on the new site and it said the maximum upload is 32mb.
I followed advice on the forum and installed the plugin (all-in-One WP Migration Import file extention).
This increased the upload file size to 512mb. the website is only 183mb
However when I go to import the site it says 0.00% and just stays like that with the only other option being to stop the import.
If the problem was the hosting provider would it not try to import some percentage and then stop the import and not stay stuck on 0.00%.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Advice on switching domainsThanks Yani.
Thanks for your reply. The only paid commercial plugin I use is Elementor Pro. Do I activate that on the new site before or after I migrate the site?

In reply to: Migrating to a new DomainHi again t-p
I also tried to post this topic on the (All in one wp migration) forum after your reply but I am not allowed as it says I can’t post it as it is a duplicate post.
Can you either move my post to their support forum or delete my post on this forum.
Thank you VictorForum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Migrating to a new DomainHello t-p.
I don’t see why I can’t ask for advice about this on this forum as I am migrating from one wordpress site to another wordpress site!
I was just hoping that someone on this forum who has used this backup and restore plugin has any advice on the topic I started.
Maybe someone else on this forum will have some constructive advice on the migration of my wordpress site.
Thank you VictorHi Scott and Ignazio.
Sorry for the late reply. The form always works for me on desktop but on mobile it seems to have a life of it’s own. it works some days and then not on other days.
I have now deactivated any but the Important plugins for the site which are Astra theme, All-in-One WP Migration, Elementor and Elementor Pro, Rank Math. Really Simple SSL, LiteSpeed Cache, Smush, TranslatePress – Multilingual, WP Mail SMTP & Happyforms (free). It is now working again on mobile and as I said always works on desktop so I would have thought that if there was a conflict with a plugin the form would not work on desktop or mobile, I wonder if Ignazio can do his test again to see if it working at your end on mobile and desktop.
I will test it again over the next few days to see if it stays working and the plugins listed above are all well known plugins and I doubt if it is one of those unless you are aware of a conflict with one of those plugins.
Thanks again for your patience with trying to resolve this problem.
PS The weird mail I received in my junk email only happened when Ignazio did the test email, it doesn’t happen on any of the tests I or friends have sent and I don’t know why that happened as the email went to my inbox so the message was sent.
Have a Great Day and Stay Safe Thanks VictorHi Ignazio.
I received your test email in my Inbox perfect so it seems that the form is working now.
The only odd thing is I received a duplicate of your mail in my Junk folder with this message?(

I dont know why I received this message in my Junk folder as your test email went to my Inbox perfectly and when I have tested the form I receive the message and nothing in my Junk folder?
However it seems the form is working now on all devices.
Any idea on what’s going on with the duplicate message in my Junk folder.
Again thank you for your time and patience with this problem.

Hi Ignazio.
This is getting stranger all the time!
After your message this morning I tested the form and it wasn’t working.
30 minutes later it was working perfect, I have tested it at least 10 times today on my iphone and it worked every time.
I tried it again 2 times just before I wrote this message and it worked again.
Also on desktop for me on my Macbook it works every time since we started trying to solve this problem.
The only cashe plugin I use on the site is LiteSpeed Cashe which I have on lots of my sites and it works perfect with the forms on those sites however those sites either use wpforms or elementor pro forms but I have been very happy using your form as sonicpulsestudio.com is my own recording studio and I found no need to change the form.
I also can not test if the cache plugin or another plugin is causing a problem when the form is working!
Sorry for dragging this problem out but can you test the form again and see if it is working for you.
Thanks VictorHi Ignazio.
I have done as you suggested and disabled the plugins and the plugin that was causing the problems was ElementsKit which I am not even using and I have had a problem with this plugin before.
I have tested the form today myself on my iphone a friends Android phone and on desktop and it seems to be working fine.
It would be great if you could run it through your simulator again for mobile and desktop and confirm that it is working for you as well.
Thank you for your help in hopefully resolving the problem.
Cheers VictorHi Both Thank you for your reply’s I am using an an iphone and a friend of mine tried it on an android phone.
The strange thing is that I tried it this morning and it worked and then I tried it later and it didn’t work again, and my friend tried it on his android and it doesn’t work either.
It works perfect on a desktop computer.
When you fill out the form and try to send it the button just goes grey and stays that way when it should go back to black and give you a green message saying message successfully sent.
I wonder if either or both of you could try to fill out the form and a short message and see if you can send it on mobile.
The mail will go directly to me and if I receive the mail I will know it works on some mobile devices.
If not any advice you have would be great.
As I said up until recently the form worked fine and I am Happy to use this form but it needs to work all the time.
Again thanks. Victor
