I have checked my Twitter developer account and it says my production app is suspended. It states an email has been sent but I haven’t been able to find it. It says I should open a support ticket but that doesn’t seem possible. When trying to get support on suspension it says I am not suspended.
But
It turned out my account was set to “paid” without paying. I could “downgrade” to “free” and then the suspension was lifted. Then it still doesn’t work if the app is not part of a project. Seems that this was undone somehow. I could add it to the still existing empty project.

Hi, I tried it and it didn’t work. As my hosting provider has a backup system installed there is no need to search for the cause, probably some other update. As there is no log of updates (or is there?) I don’t know which one it could be. The nice thing was that your plugin automatically downloaded to my local NAS, but I can live without it. For now I keep it installed but all backups are disabled.

On second thought: may be roll back to previous version?

Hi Andreas, I looked at all kinds of settings. In my hosting provider setup it says (php) memory_limit 128M, A value I can’t change. Maybe I could add some line in WP-config but I can’t really see why, because it used to work before the update. Also, the error doesn’t mention PHP.

I now did so, working fine! I didn’t use parenthesis at all. On the documentation page it says passwords on the left side. This caused me to call the column passwords in stead of password in the csv.

Sorry, your documentation page says:

Password*s* A string that contains user passwords. We have different options for this case:
If you don’t create a column for password*s*: passwords will be generated automatically
If you create a column for password*s*: if cell is empty, password won’t be updated; if cell has a value, it will be used

I now see that in the example at the end it says “password” without *s*

Thanks for your quick reply. I created a column “passwords” A new user is added “someuser1” and the password is in the cell (element in csv) in plain text “Some23pwd”. I import this but the password does not work. I can see there is some string in the wp database.

Hi, no idea how to use the “password” field. It doesn’t work to add “plain” passwords to new users.

Hi, this didn’t work at all. The site I moved worked correctly before I moved. I have another site that stopped working in september I discovered just now. Also timing out with nothing in the log, even verbose. Reinstalled BackWPup on the latter to no avail. Can I roll back to a working version?
