I’ve switched to the built-in FooGallery lightbox and everything works fine. Thank you.
Hi @elviiso,
With settings as shown in the linked image the FooBox ligthbox displays a proper value (e.g. “The Reader. 2005. 70x90cm, mixed media on canvas” taken from the Сaption attribute). Just for your information, my default settings (“FooGallery Settings/General” tab) are: Caption Title Source = “Attachment title”, Caption Description Source = “Attachment Caption”. But in this case the hover label contains both title and caption (e.g. “The Reader” and below “The Reader. 2005. 70x90cm, mixed media on canvas”) while I would prefer to display only the title.
Best regards,
VictorHi @elviiso,
Thank you for recommendations, but in the FooBox plugin’s Settings I have no “Captions” tab, there are only “General” and “Advanced” tabs without such controls. As for the FooGallery plugin it has Lightbox settings for a concrete gallery, and when I navigate to Lightbox/General tab and select “Lightbox” = “FooGallery Lightbox” then the Captions tab contains controls “Override Caption Title” and “Override Caption Desc.” and they work properly. But if I select “Lightbox” = “FooBox” then the Captions tab becomes empty and the only available control is located on the main Lightbox tab – it’s a “Lightbox Caption Source” which I described in the first message.

Hi @mihaiimagely,
Visiting the home page from the incognito window didn’t help. It’s impossible to make a screenshot when the mobile browser is in this mode, but it’s immediately changes to 3 dots after customizing CSS, both in incognito and usual modes.UPDATE: I’ve asked my wife to open the page on her iPhone, and it looks perfectly after changing CSS. So it’s Android phone’s issue. I use Android 12 version with Chrome browser.

Hi @mihaiimagely,
thank you for your advice. It works on Windows desktop version but, unfortunately, on Android smartphone causes the title to be displayed as three dots (“…”).Thank you.
It works, thanks a lot! I’ve just replaced the old code with the new one. Did you mean when writing duplicate that I should append new code without erasing the old one? Sorry for this question, I don’t know much about JS.
@imagely, thank you very much for such a quick response and exhaustive description. All works as you wrote.
The only drawback I’ve noticed on desktop version relates to paragraph 1: if before the home page is rendered I position mouse cursor over the place the image should appear (e.g. by typing site URL and moving the cursor immediately into the proposed place) then the title is nevertheless displayed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] WordPress gallery images visibility issue at iPhone 13Thank you for the prompt response and accurate diagnosis, @vmarko.
I’ve turned Lazy loading off in W3TC settings, and the issue has gone.
Will be waiting for a new version of your remarkable plugin.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: WordPress gallery issue at iPhone 13Thank you, Steve, you are absolutely right – after deactivating W3TC all images became visible. Does it mean I should address the issue to W3TC developers?

In reply to: WordPress Gallery – size of the last imageThank you very much, Justin – it works!
Hi Elviiso,
Thank you for the help, now it works! Lazy loading was enabled in EWWW Image Optimizer and in W3 Total Cache. Only after disabling them both the problem was solved. Lazy loading in FooGallery is still enabled. I think it should be active as it’s important for the fast page rendering.
Previously other lazy loaders did not interfere with the FooGallery’s one. Does it mean that from now the FooGallery lazy loader is not compatible with others?
Best regards,
VictorHi Elvis,
it works and looks excellent!
Thank you for the prompt response.Best regards,
VictorThank you, Blaise, it works! The only disadvantage is that the height of the area containing description remained the same (there is an empty line over the caption). Is there any way to shrink it?
