An example of the page that has the issue is at

I am not a coder, but can usually find my way to the right place and make the adjustments if someone points me in the right direction as to which files and what I need to do.

    Thanks for your help.

    thanks for that whooami…

At least now I know why it doesnt work, but since I am a wordpress novice and code is not my natural habitat, that was quite depressing…lol…especially when I discovered this morning that without me changing a thing on the site, the validation tool now reports 65 errors instead of 39…

Of course I could maybe start to find and fix what I understand of the errors, if I only knew which file to edit …nice that the tool reports the line location…but havent yet found a file with 200 lines of code that I can look through…

A clue to the filename and location would be helpful if you wouldnt mind pointing me in the right direction.

I have already installed the theme that I want, which is a 2 column layout, but has 2 sidebar files included…as a php novice I am only guessing, but it appears one of these is for the left and one for the right…although it is only the right sidebar that is visible in the templates loaded.
I would like to create a template that has a narrow sidebar on each side, but don’t know where to look to 1. alter the width of the existing sidebar…have searched the sidebar.php files and can see no reference there
and 2. make sidebar2.php actually visible in the template (on the left).
Not a code expert, but can usually figure it out when I find it…just need a little help to know where to look…

I am writing a new “Page” not post for which I have chosen a parent page and selected the “links” template.

I have inserted a Page title, body text and banner code, but none of this appears when the page is previewed or published.

The code I posted is the entire content of the links.php file from the Theme editor.
