I logged in as an Admin & created the pages, hence they cannot be edited by anyone else but Admin who has the highest level- But I would like to allow ‘Author level’ user to edit it.
Option 1: Is to delete the pages, Login as an Author level user and recreate the pages.
option 2. another way would be to give out my admin passowrd so other members can login as admin and edit the pages.

I do not like both these options. Can I change( downgrade) the user level of the admin created page to ‘Author level’?

https://www.innertune.net, the missing page was portfolio,but I have fixed the problem- just checking if some safety precaution can be taken so a random page does not go missing again. The only new thing I did was that I used backWPup a few weeks to backup my site.

Thanks Amy. Is it important to to backup the database every time you upgrade? This would be a bit too technical for some clients.

When viewed on a mobile device/Kindle, The main page of my wordpress website with all posts has no text overflowing out of the main content area. But I notice text overflow issues on pages created from the 2011 theme ‘page template’ as well as ‘single post’ template.

Thanks for the code on your site ‘transformationpowertools’. I did get the sidebar back, but have a few problems & cannot figure it out. Your help would be appreciated.
When I click on any post ( which invokes single.php template defined in my child theme) the text for the post overflows on the ipad screen.
