I think #Marventus is right. But if you don’t want to use wp_nav_menu, you can add a Custom Field say NavLabel to each page.

Use get_pages(‘meta_key’=’NavLabel’) to retrieve all pages that has values for the NavLabel custom field. Note though you will lose page tree-like structure.

Do you mean removing from a post or totally from the theme?

if removing from a particular post, simply uncheck the Allow comments. option under Discussion.

If totally from the theme, then locate the comments.php from the template folder and make its content empty.

I believe the float:left; should help.

I believe the problem stems from the CSS, noticed you are using:
#posts1 {
background-color:#00FF00;
margin-left:230px;
position:absolute;
width:550px;
}

The position:absolute; is the culprit.
I believe you should try to use float instead.
