No Stevenoi, I want to have a page, and this page lists it′s subpages.

Another solution I could want is to have a category (level=1) that lists all pages in that category (level=2). I would want the level=1-page to list the level=2-pages with title, excerpt and a read more-link.

Any tips?

I have to some point the same need/wish:

I do not want the page to be a category, but just a page listing its subpages just like a normal category except it ′s a page…

I managed to add an image in front of the category-listings by editing the file template-functions.php…
Anyone here who knows how to do the same to the archive-listings?! Please?!

Thanks, but I have some how removed the li-tag’s in front of these listings…
Therefore I must have been able to add an image-tag there in front of these as well…? :s
I was hoping to find a before and after-option in wordpress’ admin-part, but that was only on the Links part…

Hehe – I am aware of the problems in Firefox… But since most of the person who will be surfing by my page uses MSIE, I have based it on MSIE..;)
(I will work on the firefox layout in a while..)
But the main problem with the background image remains…:s

Finally, my page is XHTML 1.0 compliant, but the error I referred to above, still exists..:s
I’ll explain it again:
when I press any of the “last comments”-links (or most of the other links inside the blog) the background image does not fill the whole page downwards… It ends a bit after the content of the post…
Does anyone know why?
I think it must be a mistake in the CSS but I have no clue what the mistake could be…
