I think I figured it out. The broken image link only appears when you send an email via the MailPress Test function. In actual use the image link works.
I believe what happens may be that the action script matches up the code from the image URL to the subscriber database, and returns an image. If the code doesn’t match up to any subscriber, the action script borks. This actually may be a little bit of a bug in MP. ??
