No, 400 is supposed to be like Lora Regular (as in TTF), rest 500,600 … go as semi-bold, bold and extrabold (1100) or Black (1600). When I wrote CSS it had font-weight:400 and next was – font-style: italics, I also have lora 700.

This is what happens when I load a third-party CSS plugin, instantly the italics appears as it should. I force it to write the CSS, it does. But without it, the page comes back to square one. The link above is showing part of homepage.

If you know how one can force italics, I would like to know. Thanks for support

Surprisingly, I have all the fonts on my server (font weight:400 for both regular and italics), and wonder where from the site is trying to load fonts from google. Moreover, which instruct is asking to load all weights (300-1700). I request you to show me, from where you got this info, it will allow me to address this sooner.

The screenshot you showed “is NOT true italics, but a slanted version, which I do not want”. Any assistance will be a boon to me.

By mistake I hit the Resolved button. If possible can you undo it?

On the events page, “Upcoming Events” appears, as Title. I forgot where I have keyed it in, hence asking. Theme author says, it is under Theme Options, but I could not see. The site is on localhost. If you are asking shows it is not in plugin options.

I am using Google Fonts. I tried all font plugins, but the effect is the same.

Here, in the middle, there are many latin names which I italicized, using proper Lora Italics font. But that effect is gone. The same theme showed italics properly, using the same version, except from WordPress 6 onwards, I see this change.

All good. The cache held it in its own way.

Now it appears to be fine. 404 appeared when saving settings, on the top, right hand side. I had exported from parent side, imported here. Though I could see the ticker inside the settings box, when trying to save, I got the error

If I choose, lora, whole text, ignoring Italics and bold appears.

If I choose Lora-italics, whole text becomes italics. How to assign only some words for italics in “Font Assignment” ?

I chose Montserrat in Regular and Semi-bold, both fonts appear same in your app.

Your app does not work as a Font Manager should work. When I uploaded, lora-regular, lora-italics, lora-bold, lora-bolditalic, it should display text in Lora and whenever needed, for particular words, where <em> or <strong> is applied, show proper font, which is not happening.

It did not work. I tried from 20px, then had to make it 50, else the text floated at the bottom. At 50, it comes back to square one. See this:

Irrespective of the options, the font does not come crisp. Some shading persists.

Me too. All of a sudden. I use Samsung Galaxy and Chrome/Firefox. I believe “Cache” is the main problem, which hides many things.
