I was told by hostgator staff that it is my wordpress wrongly configured?That is why I have there log in to diani rentals? Is that possible? I do not have such site:-( This is driving me crazy, can somebody help please with this?

I am still looking for a help with pages 2, 3,4,5 etc; which are being created for each of my pages and posts on my website Villas Diani.

First I thought that the paginated pages are being created by yoast seo plugin, then I found on his support forum that it might be created by the theme, but the developer said me it is being created by WordPress. Can somebody help how can I get rid of the pages created by WordPress and what is causing that?

I will appreciate any help,

I do not have second page on my homepage, neither 3, or 4. That’s why it seams to me wrong to be sending google to page 2 which actually does snot exist and is only some duplicate. I see the page 2,3,4 etc of homepage has set robots meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow,noodp”

Strangely enough, while page number 2,3,4 etc of other page have set robots as index! I am using yoast seo pluging which I have set to noindex subpages to prevent page 2 show up in search.

If this is not weird enough, also when I try to place a link of a post with added page/2/, just to check if such pages 2, 3, 4 etc are being created on posts as well, it will redirect to an original post. So posts does not have pages with numbers 2, 3, 4 etc but redirect to canonical post. I have no idea why is this all happening, but i guess I have something set terribly wrong:-(

Thank you very much for your message bcworkz, I already disabled the pingbacks, but as far as I know it will only disable on feature posts.

I guess I am supposed to get rid off the old ones as well. I do not understend this, but I was doing some research and they also talk about disabling some xmlrpc.php file or I should use some SQl and run this query:

UPDATE wp_posts SET ping_status=’closed’ WHERE post_status = ‘publish’ AND post_type = ‘post’;
UPDATE wp_posts SET ping_status=’closed’ WHERE post_status = ‘publish’ AND post_type = ‘page’;

Apparently the firs one will disable the exiting and the second lkine will stop the future? But this is all like chinese for me:-(

Hi guys, did you figure this out already? I had the same problem and I have removed in the link with 403 error page what was behind & and it worked for me.

Thank you very much WPRanger, this sounds for me as Chinese. I have no idea what this means and even do not know what should I tell to hostgator to do:-( Do you think they will know if I just tell them enable the settings on nginx.conf file? And then what will change? Or what I have there wrong?

Oh, I guess this is bad:-( all that hover, or is that normal?

I guess also the domain without the slash is bad, should I change it for the one with slash? How? I guess also my head is wrongly configured for this:-( Can you help me with this please?

I also had a look on that tool you provided me and I realy do not understand why is it showing that 16% of my words are hover or color 1.54%…:-(

Another thing, it also shows that I have link on my site https://mysite.com without slash on the end, but I do not know where this link is coming from…
