It seems that I found the way to set up what Aert is recommending.

In GTM, my GA4 tag is triggered on All Pages, then I set up GA4 (using https://complianz.io/configure-google-analytics-4-for-gdpr/) and I anonymized it.

Is there a way to check that everything is correctly set up?

Question: I checked GA4 real time dashboard. GA4 is tracking page views but the location on the map is wrong. Is it due to the set up and the anonymization of IP addresses?

Thank you so much for this answer. Is there a tutorial to set the Analytics trigger to “cmplz_event_functional”? I do not understand how to implement it. Indeed, I would prefer to fire Analytics before the consent.
