If you have edited the parent theme keep the changes as it is. Download a fresh copy of expound theme and keep this as your parent theme. As you may know the changes you have done earlier, keep those files in child theme and override the parent theme with just few lines given below.

/*
Theme Name: Expound Child
Template: expound
*/

@import url(‘../expound/style.css’);

I found a solution in the net by adding <div class=”header-ads”> followed by adsense code in header.php and placement using css code.
The above addition was done to Child theme.

This is again about the image size discussed in point # 1
Can I change the image size according to my preference ie 650×450, Am I allowed to do so? Or its a standard size?
