Thanks for reply.
It could be some plugin conflict issue. However, I’ve found an alternative that is working well with my present setup.
Thanks and all the best.
I did what you asked me to do:
– registered as a user
– did not click on the activation link
– tried to log in to the siteI could not login/access the dashboard (so did not receive the email alert from NinjaFirewall).
I got an error – Your account has not been activated. Check your email for the activation link. If you have not received an email yet, click here to resend it.
I found the trespasser in the “pending” list of users. The user status was “subscriber” and not “administrator”.
But the trespassewr was also able to message me using the BuddyPress messaging system, which is only for the registered and activated members (subscribers).
I also have Wordfence notifications activated on my site. However, it did not send an alert notification regarding this trespassers entry into the admin console (if it did really enter the admin console).
I received an email like this:
“Someone just logged in to your WordPress admin console:
-User : XXXXXXX (not in users list)”
I’ve hidden the name in the example. It is followed by the IP address of the person etc.
Even if someone is in the users list in the role of a subscriber, how can they get access to the admin console.
Some such trespassers have not even activated their registration. So, technically, they cannot even log in to the site. But the email notification states otherwise.
I did not check if the person who logged in had the administrator role or not, most probably not. The role was still of the subscriber but I got the email stating that the person has entered the admin console. Do you think this could be a false alarm?
No, I do not have a multisite installation. I do have a forum on the site and the registrations are open to all (but monitored and managed).

In reply to: [WP Idea Stream] Idea Stream conflict with Content CardsThis plugin (ContentCards) offers more features than the native embed feature of WordPress, and that is the reason I’m using it. I’ve no idea if it replaces the feature.
Also, is it possible to add a field in your form for a website link and make it have the oembed feature so when a link is submitted, it’s screenshot is displayed?
Thanks.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
In its regular scans, Wordfence marks few NinjaFirewall files as critical. They are the “nfwlog/firewall year-month.php” files as shown in this image https://s18.postimg.org/jhhqe45o9/wordfence-ninja-critical.jpg. How do I resolve these errors? Though at times, these errors vanish, they reappear later in other Wordfence scans.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML Sitemap button on the plugin giving out a blank pageI came across this page https://kb.yoast.com/article/36-my-sitemap-is-blank-what-s-wrong and followed the instructions –
added ([a-z]+)?-?sitemap.xsl on browswer cache and minify exclusion lists.
Still no change.
Will read and try the other guidelines on that page.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML Sitemap button on the plugin giving out a blank pageJust activated the latest update 2.1.1
I still get a blank screen on Chrome browser. On Firefox, I get this error:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: https://sitename/main-sitemap.xsl
Line Number 15, Column 83:th{border-bottom:1px solid #000;cursor:pointer}</style></head><body><script async type=”text/javascript” src=”https://sitename/wp-content/cache/minify/000000/7cfee/default.include-body.7dfeb0.js?02cb16″></script><div
———————————————————————————-^Probably this is due to minification of scripts by W3 Total Cache plugin.
But such incompatibility was not there before. I’ve always used minification but that never compromised with WP SEO Sitemaps.Forum: Plugins

I can’t find the Help tab, it used to be there earlier. I’m using the latest version 2.1

In reply to: [BuddyPress Wall] Can't post commentExperiencing the same problem.. there’s no “post comment” button when making replies to comments.. so can’t post a comment. Is this due to plugin conflict or a problem that all are facing with this plugin?

In reply to: [WP125] Blank new window and No follow linkHi @canadianangelxo. Thanks for the shout out – I didn’t know that and it certainly helps. However, I went ahead and edited the WP125.php file.
You can find a code line there as follows:
//define("ADLINK_EXTRA", ' target="_blank"'); //If you absolutely *must* open your ads in new windows, uncomment this line
So, just remove the “//” from the beginning of this line. I also added a similar code where I replaced target=”_blank” with nofollow.
Hope this helps you! ??

In reply to: [Social Media Followers Counter] plugin not workingThanks for your help. Now I can see the widget, however, all is not well.
I had to make some changes.
I changes all “side” to “sidebar”, in your php and css.I changed side-socials class in your php to sidebar-widget.
Now, I see the widget better. But not in horizontal format and without social icon image.
You can see that I’m not a tech person and have no programming knowledge. I just hit & tried using Chrome inspect element.
Can you further resolve the issue for me, so I can see the widget as you’ve shown in the screenshot you sent?
Also, in the screenshot, the title of the widget is not appearing as the title of the other widgets in my blog sidebar.Thanks.
