HI there,

I am talking about shortcode :: [directorist_tag]

If I create new page with above shortcode for business listings for tags.

While I see this page on front-end, it never work the permalink as aspect.

While I copy page permalink and add tag slug with that it working like category list & location list but direct link while I click on tag is wrong.

Even same permalink problem from wp-admin >> directorylist > Tags list >> view link from the list of tags — mouse hover…

if you have create child theme then you can adjust sidebar width via css from style.css even you can flot it left or right as per you want.

if u hv a little knowledge of css, you can get make it yourself by using firefox + it’s add once “firebug”.

hi you are using css3 style code and it may not work in IE so you should use simple code like

#menu-item-169{ background-color: #23A323;} in header IE stylesheet

because of older version of theme you are using may face such error.

I also have faced same error while first time i have used buddypress.

as the wordpress version is upgrade , some of free themes are not upgraded so such type of issue occurs.

the theme demo is working fine. make sure you are using latest worpdress.
and the problem may be because of the theme may developed for older version and it may not support latest version of theme. You may get free themes from : [link moderated]

you may need to create support ticket for it or if you have a little bit design skill, you can set it from style.css otherwise you should hire any developer for it.

theme is change from wp-admin > Appearance >Theme section and you can see it in left menu.

You cannot see the option mean you don’t have permission to edit the theme and can you see plugin section and tool section also?

it may be jquery init problem.

add the same js code in footer and you should make your jquery code with onload ready so it will ready after related element is exist in the html code and as your js is in footer so it should work.

remove database & all wordpress files & folders

or

Create a index.html page with under construction text and upload at root of your site. so every user will see only it.

please from wp-admin check permalink : https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Permalinks

make sure you have installed wordpress properly. if any .htaccess file please rename temporary and check it.

or if changing permalink, make sure .htaccess is there or not? check it.

If possible deactive un-necessary plugin and check it.

It seems that you want to install the wordpress on your local PC?

Ok please make sure WAMP is working/started properly.

check https://localhost/ url.

WAMP has very good interface so whatevery folder you have in your “www” directory, will be listed.

if not then get download latest wordpress software from www.ads-software.com and unzip it and move to “www” folder. Check again can you see the wordppress folder?

If yes then click it and it will on the installation page and it will ask you for configuration. Enter all information as require.

You should make mysql database via https://localhost/phpmyadmin/

while you are installing the wordpress and database information should be correct otherwise it will not installed.
normally user ID : “root”
passwork : blank
