    Sybre, thanks for the reply. I’m now realizing I mistyped / incorrectly referenced the issue. The pages are showing up in the site map. And of course, when I view the page source, it is only showing “<meta name=”robots” content=”noydir” />”.

    Additionally, even though I have selected the “Apply noindex to this term?” in the gallery tags’ Robots Meta Settings, they are still showing as green / “Gallery tags is being indexed” in the gallery tag’s summary of SEO settings.

    Andrea, thanks for the follow-up. A bit ago I came to realize the “problem” was merely my own oversight on something. In my effort to keep the various titles from showing up in the site index, I’d gotten a little carried away and also activated the setting that kept the titles (well, most — all but 10 titles ?? ) from showing up in the archives. Given that the plugin is built on the archive template…. Oops.

    Again, I appreciate your willingness to help me troubleshoot my own temporary empty-headedness. ??

    Thanks, Sybre, for getting back to me on this. I’m now realizing what the issue is.

    This site is a new one, and I’m actually digesting my reference books using the author plugin. I had originally added all the titles, authors, etc., and then last week realized I needed to keep the book titles from showing up in the site index, so went back through and turned the visibility off, including the archive visibility. However, I had neglected to turn the archive visibility off …. on 10 of the titles.

    A few days ago, when troubleshooting something else, I inadvertently reverted to the Twenty Seventeen theme on the live site instead of the staging site. When I flipped it back and then checked the site pages, it was then I noticed this issue. (I hadn’t looked at this particular page the two days prior — between turning off most of the books’ archive visibility.) The fact that I was now seeing no more than 10 book titles led me to falsely conclude it was something to do with the general reading setting.

    As this particular plugin uses the archive template to generate the list of books, I of course now need to go back through and deselect the box to “Exclude this Book from all archive listings.” I’ve reset enough of them to confirm all is (or will be) as it should.

    I’ve looked but not found a way to edit those settings en masse. Is there one and I’ve simply overlooked it? My reference library is rather extensive, so the task is proving a bit tedious.

    Thanks again for the follow-up and assistance, and my apologies for the disconnect at my end.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but no.
    And after a bit more investigating, I’m thinking this may be somehow the result of another SEO-related plugin I have on this site. I’m not sure how or why, but….
    I’m waiting to hear back from that developer.

    Nick / @modernnerd, you are hands down my hero of the week. With the guidance and information you’ve provided, I’ve been able to accomplish what I wanted in just a few minutes. I’m happy to report the hair pulling and head desk frustration is now over. Yay!!

    Thanks so much. You rock!

    Nick @modernnerd, so sorry for the delay in coming back to this. I thought I had my account set to alert me with responses, but somehow missed this.

    I’ve modified the add-on segment in my functions.php as follows, but still the page is showing full width with no sign of a sidebar or other means to add a tag cloud widget.

    if ( is_post_type_archive( 'books' ) ) {
    //* Force content-sidebar layout
    add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );
    }

    As I’m at least moderately technical, I thought I’d be able to tackle this myself, but now I’m not so sure. ??

    It would be wonderful to be able to search tags, titles, and descriptions.

    Thanks for your prompt offer to step in and help.
    Actually, now that I’ve had an opportunity to sleep on it and get a caffeine infusion, I just confirmed my morning revelation – it was just a matter of tweaking the aspect ratio. (Silly me.)

    Thanks again for a fabulous plugin!

    I love the look of this plugin and find that the enhanced version is well worth the investment, but I too am being challenged by the calculated height – it is leaving too much space between the introductory text and the carousel itself. My tallest image is 306px, yet 799px is being allocated, with much of that additional space above the photos. I like and am using the reflections, and have tried adding a negative margin at the top, but it just eats part of the introductory text while leaving the stark, expansive real estate in between.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?
