I haven’t been able to check it on a larger display only laptop and devices. My display is 1440×900 Would like to at least at a conditional css to this but because the header elements are not marked up un the themes style.css I don’t have the knowledge to edit. If you know the workaround that would be great!

Cheers, thanks! I had a feeling that was all that needed to be done but was worried it would cause an implosion like before.

Thanks for following up, I poked around and found an old thread that was a simple solution. The parent – child heirachy with menu buttons. Sort of a hidden asset in the menu section of the dashboard. to add a child level button you drag that buttonto the side of the parent when dropping it into the menu set up. some what of a intuitive detail. Hopefully WordPress can make that detail more of a visible with a caption or something in that area.

THe links keep getting scrubbed is there another way to post a screenshot so this problem can be looked at?

do you know a way to remove the Yoast plugin from the database so my wordpress blog can return to normal functionality? I can’t even access the wp-admin dashboard.

the errors showed up all of a sudden. also the comments have been spammed and total 77,000 comments which might also affect this issue. I can’t get into the dashboard whatsoever to edit or turn of plug-ins.

plugins deactivated yielded no results. I moved the sidebar widgets around. now the search bar opens email when the search bar is clicked to type a keyword.

seems like whatever asset follows the previous link in the sidebar there is a problem.

why would the plugins affect how the state of a link behaves?

i meant ON. I right clicked on the folder icon in my FTP and got info. In the info dialog box I changed the permissions for that folder to all the different number you listed and tested uploading an image to the media library as well as the other channels to upload an image. I get an error.

I tried all those numbers in the WP-CONTENT folder no avail.

what file then?? please be more detailed as I have never adjusted with file permissions before.

right now the index.php file permission inside wp-content is 644

i understand, when i posted this in the troubleshooting forum it got moved to the theme forum. Now the them forum is saying its a general issue.

Which is it?

the images do not scale properly when they are attached via the attach media link in the dashboard.

I also adjusted the CSS markup to include height: auto; when I did that it caused bug in the layout and now it previews at 50% the overall width of the page on iphones and I am lost as to why. when I remove that height:auto; markup the bug is not corrected.
