In reply to: [Grid Columns] Empty being added above columnsHi Justin,
I have the same problem as PinkishHue. With each additional column I create I get an extra line space above the column. So if it’s a 2 column post there’s 1 extra line space above the second column; if it’s a 3 column post there’s 1 extra line space above the second column and 2 extra line spaces above the third column.
I am using WordPress 3.5.1
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: lost admin pageHi everyone, just want to let you know that I got impatient and completely reinstalled WP 2.5.1 (with a new database). Everything seems to be working fine now. Of course, I lost all my posts and comments though! I strongly advise NOT USING the WP Automatic Upgrade Plugin in https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Upgrading_WordPress – that’s when things started to go wrong and I couldn’t access my old database even after backing it up and restoring it.
Good luck everybody – hope you don’t have to make as drastic of a move.

In reply to: wp-admin page disappeared after upgradeHi,
I couldn’t figure out the problem, so I completely re-installed WordPress (with a new database). Everything seems to be working fine now. Of course, I had to manually insert all my old posts.
When I tried importing my old database (with all my posts and comments!), I couldn’t get it to work.
If you upgrade to WP 2.5.1, I strongly suggest that YOU DON’T use the wordpress automatic plugin in the documentation (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Upgrading_WordPress). That’s when things started to go wrong. I got locked out and had to do a complete re-install.

In reply to: Wp-admin Nothing Found Errorkmessinger, thanks for your response. i followed the following instructions to give wordpress its own directory. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
so index.php is in the root folder, and redirecting everything else to https://www.stealthchinese.com/dj.
perhaps my .htaccess file is incorrect? right now it shows this:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPressany suggestions?

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: lost admin pageHi, this is my first time posting a question / issue.
I tried to updgrade to WordPress 2.5.1 using the Automatic Upgrade plugin that WordPress official documentation recommended (https://techie-buzz.com/wordpress-plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade-plugin.html)
After I entered my FTP info, and hostname, nothing happened.
When I tried to manage the plugin through wp-admin, I found that I couldn’t access any part of wp-admin. The funny thing is that my site runs fine, but I have no way to access the back end.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
