In reply to: [MaxGalleria] gallery shortcode results in fatal errorI have been in communication with WooCommerce support. This is their recent message:
Okay – so if WooCommerce works correctly on its own, but then doesn’t work when the Max Galleria shortcode is used, then the problem is with the MaxGalleria plugin. I’m not able to dig in to see why the plugin isn’t working correctly for you.
If you’d like further help with this, then I highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Fatal error on product page using MAXgalleria gallery shortcodeThere are no customizations. I set up this wordpress installation to test out this issue with maxgalleria and woocommerce rather than use my live site where there are customizations. I installed wordpress, installed woocommerce and Storefront theme, the 2 MaxFoundry plugins, and added a couple of products. I can supply login if it would be possible for someone to investigate.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Fatal error on product page using MAXgalleria gallery shortcodeIf I use MaxGalleria shortcode in the product short description rather than product description, I get a similar error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_type() on null in /home/linben26/lindascraftique.ca/wp02/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-template-functions.php on line 1008

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Fatal error on product page using MAXgalleria gallery shortcodeWhen MaxGalleria plugin is active, I only have the error on a product page where I am using the maxgalleria shortcode. I have other product pages e.g. https://lindascraftique.ca/wp02/product/yarn-a
where shortcode is not usedIf I disable the MaxGalleria plugin (only the one related to gallery, leaving the media library folder plugin active) I do not see the error on the product page https://lindascraftique.ca/wp02/product/yarn-b (I see the shortcode presented as text, as expected)

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] error viewing ticketThanks for your help yesterday resolving my issue by installing a previous version of Woocommerce. HOWEVER, overnight Woocommerce plugin upgraded itself to the current version 3.0.1 .
I hope I have prevented this happening again by installing plugin Easy Updates Manager to disable any updates to Woocommerce.
As a note to other users of this plugin, be aware that it will not work properly yet with any version of Woocommerce beyond 2.6.14

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] error viewing ticketTo further investigate this issue, I created a new install of WordPress and got the same error message when trying to view the tickets related to an order.
An error has occurred while attempting to view the ticket
None of the tickets for this order could be foundThese are the steps I took to create the install:
. installed wordpress
. removed all plugins from the install
. added plugin woocommerce, activated and configured
. added plugin opentickets
there was an error on activate
The plugin generated 270 characters of?unexpected output?during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
. added an event (using your documentation as a guide)
. purchased a ticketI create a user account with admin privilege – you should have received the email.
With thanks for your assistance, Vivian Goffart

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] error adding ticket to cartI just encountered this same error using chrome/windows 10. If I add another product (standard products set up in a woocommerce store) to my cart first, and then add ticket it will work. That is the workaround I propose so that we can sell tickets.
It has also happened with safari on a mac, and IE/windows 10.
Let me know if I can offer other assistance.
I am using the ticketing system for an upcoming event and I do not want to make any changes to settings at this time.
The links are working fine for me now, ever since I updated the file /inc/sys/ticket/ticket.class.php in the plugin directory, replacing the instances of variable “site_url” with “home-url”.
If I have a chance, I will install the plugin on another site to see if I can recreate the issue.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] “View Your Ticket” Link brokenHi there
I had what I think was the same issue and this is how I managed it:
I am running OpenTickets 2.6.5
It is the only version I have tried.NOT multisite
my setup is
subdomain.domain.com/wordpress
but my HOME URL is subdomain.domain.com (without the subdir)( * Home URL: [neutral] https://frolic.torontoknittersguild.ca
* Site URL: [neutral] https://frolic.torontoknittersguild.ca/wordpress )Sorry for delayed reply as I was on vacation — otherwise happy to help improve your product!
Whenever I setup a wordpress site, I always install wordpress in a subdir but use a HOME URL without the subdir.
I think I have found a solution to this.
Edited the file /inc/sys/ticket/ticket.class.php in the plugin directory. Updated 4 instances of the variable “site_url” changing it to “home-url”.With this change, the confirmation email and the customer order screen now contain the correct url link to the tickets.
Hi there,
I am having what looks like the same issue. The link that is included in the customers confirmation email, and to the order on the backend, results in a 404 error. The URL is built with the SITE URL rather than the HOME URL (which is why there is a 404 page error)This is an example of the URL from a confirmation email:
https://frolic.torontoknittersguild.ca/wordpress/ticket/fHx8MjAwMS4yMDE3LjUyOX4wMzg1ZWVhZjg5Mjk0NTA1YzM4OGQyMjQ4MjI0ZjFmODMzOWVmY2Jl/?n=dfed66788d4818d8c4b775b75c0c2169I have noted that if I manually update the url in the address bar to remove the subdirectory in the path, I see that the ticket is there.
Where could I make the change to correct the URL for the ticket?
With thanks, Vivian(I previously posted this query with a resolved issue which is why I am posting it again)

+ #1992 “General Admission” (40) [1 EA]I have the same problem with the URL for the tickets. I am looking for a solution that does not require moving the wordpress files to the root folder.
I updated permalinks as suggested with no change. I can view the ticket if I update the URL and remove the subdirectory. I do not know where behind the scenes I could change the a setting so that the URL string is correctly assembled.
I have just installed the plugin today and using your very helpful instructions I have been able to get it running, with just this little wrinkle. Your assistance is greatly appreciated, Vivian
