In reply to: [Estimated Delivery for WooCommerce] Romanian TranslationI have fully translated the Stable project and now Romanian users should see translated strings on their sites. @marwanhalawi (as an active user of the plugin) if you see any strings that need changes, feel free to suggest another translation and we are open to consider improving them if needed.
Kind regards.

In reply to: [Estimated Delivery for WooCommerce] Romanian Translation@danielriera
In Romanian locale we usually review translations in less than a week, but most of the times, the same day they were submitted. So yes, feel free to direct Romanian users to translate.w.org platform for any of your plugins and ping me to let the user know about some useful guidelines they need to know about. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Estimated Delivery for WooCommerce] Romanian TranslationHi @marwanhalawi
A better alternative is to use translate.www.ads-software.com interface to translate. This plugin has a rather small string base (only around 60 strings) so it can be translated quite fast. You can start suggesting your translations at https://translate.www.ads-software.com/locale/ro/default/wp-plugins/estimated-delivery-for-woocommerce/
You can start by translating the Stable project.
Important: please first read our Romanian translations guide carefully at https://ro.www.ads-software.com/team/handbook/ghid/
This way not only you can benefit from the translations for this plugin but any Romanian user that uses it.
Looking forward to review and approve your translations.
Kind regards!

In reply to: [Stripe Payment Plugin for WooCommerce] Link by StripeHi, @raduionitamap
I am not a user of this plugin, so I can’t tell if there’s a setting for you to manually input some translated strings. However, as you can see here the plugin is not yet translated in Romanian. The translations are made by volunteers and you can contribute as well if you want.
If you want to help at translating this plugin, please start by reading our Romanian translations guide and then start suggesting translations in the Stable project of the plugin.
I translated it up to 30% – we need to bring it to 90% to have the language pack generated for it. Only around 300 strings left. So if you can help translating it, that would be much appreciated. Just make sure to follow the translation rules mentioned above.
Kind regards!

In reply to: Bad Romanian LocalizationHi!
I am sorry you found the Romanian translations unprofessional. Are you reffering to a certain project (core, meta, a plugin, a theme)? Please give us some examples.
You can see Romanian projects here https://translate.www.ads-software.com/locale/ro/default/
Who decided who will be the team leader?
The international reps are chosen by the community based on one’s involvement.
The locale General Translation Editors (GTE) are picked by the current team from those who show up and translate, after they demonstrate that they follow the general translation rules, style guidelines and glossary. You can read our translation guide here.
In that handbook you also find information about how to become a Project Translation Editor or a GTE.
How much does WordPress pay for localization?
WordPress is an open-source project so unless someone is sponsored to contribute, there is no payment. All Romanian contributors are volunteers as far as I know. Some companies that own plugins/themes choose to hire professional translators for their plugin but those translations will come from special Cross Language Project Translation Editor accounts (CLPTE).
Hope this information helps. Let us know if you have more specifics on what can be improved and we’d be more than happy to discuss.
Kind regards.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] searchHi!
I second this as a Romanian speaker!Just a note, the correct Romanian special characters are
?
and?
, instead of?
and?
so you might want to consider those characters. ??Kind regards!
Awesome! Please don’t forget to read our translation rules, so your translations get approved. If you have any questions let me know.
Hi!
You can see on this page that this plugin is only partially translated for the language you are interested in.
https://translate.www.ads-software.com/locale/ro/default/wp-plugins/wp-event-manager/
Only 51% of the stable project is translated so far.
If you are a native speaker and want to contribute to translating, please read our translation rules and guidelines at
https://ro.www.ads-software.com/localizareThen, you can start suggesting translations. A memeber of the localization team will review and approve them.
On that page, you also have information on how to contact the localization team via Slack. Feel free to ask us anything.
Kind regards!

In reply to: User profile from mini orange OAuthHi, @bluemoon86
I am not sure what plugin from this list you are using:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/miniorange+OAuth/I recommend opening that specific plugin you are using and then Click on the View Support Forum in the right sidebar and ask in that forum, so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
Kind regards!

In reply to: Remove IP address warning at bottom of login pageHi, @meagainatpmp
This is not coming from WordPress itself – not a core feature. It’s most likely a GDPR compliance plugin or something similar.
if you can’t find this plugin it the list of plugins – please attempt to disable all plugins and then enable them one by one to identify the source of your notification.
As an alternative, if you want to make these changes only for your eyes, without affecting normal visitors to your site, install Health Check Plugin
1. Under Tools > Site Health, on the Troubleshooting tab, click on the Enable Troubleshooting Mode button to disable all plugins (just for yourself, while you’re still logged in).
2. Then, by using the options displayed at
/wp-admin
, you can turn on/off plugins, one at the time and check what plugin is the cause of your problem.3. Don’t forget to Disable Troubleshooting Mode when you’re done.
See https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/ for more information.
Hope this helps,

In reply to: My widget page looks different?Hi!
Yes, this is a new feature – bringing blocks into the Widgets screen, so you can use the power of blocks in widgets as well.
The plugin you mentioned, however will need an update to work with this new update, so please reach out to its developers and ask them to update it to be compatible with WordPress 5.8.
However, if you find this new look disrupting your workflow, you could use https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-widgets/ to switch back to the old widgets editor. But first, give this new feature a try and see if you like it. It’s like editing a post – you can add whatever block you want, not being limited to a few widgets.
Hope this helps,
Kind regards!Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Missing WidgetsIf you want to use the new Block Widgets screen, you need to do a little more debugging. Your theme (most probably) or one of your plugins conflicts with the new widgets editor.
In order to see what is the source of the problem, please attempt to
- disable all plugins
- switch to a default theme (Twenty Twenty-One)
and
If the problem goes away, enable the plugins one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
As an alternative, if you want to make these changes only for your eyes, without affecting normal visitors to your site, install Health Check Plugin
1. Under Tools > Site Health, on the Troubleshooting tab, click on the Enable Troubleshooting Mode button to disable all plugins and change the theme to a default one (just for yourself, while you’re still logged in).
2. Then, by using the options displayed at
/wp-admin
, you can turn on/off plugins and themes, one at the time and check what plugin is the cause of your problem.3. Don’t forget to Disable Troubleshooting Mode when you’re done. And you can also uninstall the Health Check Plugin to keep the plugin list clean.
After you see where the issue comes from, you should contact that theme/developer author and ask them to update their product.
I understand this can take some time, but this way, you can make use of the latest features and also help others by asking the developers to update their product.
Kind regards!
