Well, we have a dummy site hosted on an internal server, that was like our… practice site. We have the live version, which is hosted on an outside server. I edit both with WP. The one on our server is fine, but doesn’t have all of the plugins as the live. I contacted the host server, and they checked our CPU and they said everything on their end is fine, and suggested I delete and reinstall all plugins, because some may not work with our current PHP. We host with IX Web Hosting.

Ok, I tried that now… I switched to another theme, and then tried switching back… still experiencing the same trouble. Could it have something to do with my FTP? I had a dummy site that I used when I was brainstorming ideas with our CEO, and when I log into the dummy site, which is under another FTP address, the toolbox shows back up, and Visual/Text/Add Media is all back the way it should be… any idea? Could that mean also something is wrong with our host? Our host server a few months ago disabled our site because it said it crashed their server… but I don’t understand why, we don’t have a big website. Could it be something they’re preventing us from doing that is messing with my WordPress on the background?

Any help is very much appreciated!! Not sure why this has happened.

Can I do that without completely screwing with my live site? I just wanted to avoid disruption in viewing of the live version.
