  • Have the same error message here when cropping.
However this error only happens when specifying the thumbnail or medium sized images, not when cropping the full size, or the “chain”.

    THANKS!
Great to see this released here as well.
I’ll be doing some testing on my WP blog next week.
Having the ability to deploy Flash panoramas this way literally opens new doors ??
    Keep up the good work!

OKOKOK! It turns out that you need to run Postie with a cookie set- i.e. from the CP or from a browser that still has a valid cookie to offer. When Postie is croned, there is no cookie of course, and so lots of styling and stuff is parsed out in the process, I presume for very valid security reasons.

My solution was to crone a “robot” user agent that will first log in to WP as admin to get a cookie set in its cookieJar, and then GET Postie. This way the CSSses, custom <DIV>s etc. stay put, and now my images are floating and the text is wrapping according to my custom classes.

I’m sure someone who knows WP better will be making a more elegant solution to this, ah, feature.

    Greetings!
You are not alone, and the problem you describe is a very real problem. Postie WILL strip your <Div class=. . > from your emailed post when using Cron, or cronless postie.

It appears that Postie insists on being run in a browser window in order to preserve your styles.

I’m combing the Postie-functions as we speak. I did see a few workarounds over at Postie’s home, none of which work here on WP 2.2 and Postie 1.1.1.

Anybody with any inklings on this stuff?

In my case I’m simply trying to get the images I post floating right. Take a look at https://www.afoto.com/wordpress to se what I mean.
