    Hi @611shabnam

Thank you for the information, even though the error has been known for almost a year and is not a major priority.

    Hi @611shabnam

The preview is missing, but it is also missing in WordPress 6.4 and i didn’t see this preview in versions before. But the missing preview is not my problem. So for better understanding I made two short videos which shows the difference between with and without using Yoast.

I have a new WordPress (6.6.1) instance installed with Yoast as the only plugin and only the standard themes. The setting “Editor looks like theme” is not activated.

This Video: https://blog.dnb.de/bugs/ohne_yoast.mp4 shows what it looks like if Yoast is deactivated.

This Video: https://blog.dnb.de/bugs/mit_yoast.mp4 shows what it looks like if Yoast activated.

    Hi @maybellyne,

Sorry, but I don’t understand how “my bug” is related to the bug report you refer to here. Apart from the fact that the bug report is 6 years old. It seems that what I mean has not yet been fully understood.

    Hi @611shabnam

The problem is not setting a link but the design and functions of the LinkControl. In WordPress 6.5.3 it should look like in my last two pictures or like here in the forum. With the Yoast plugin active, however, it looks like in my first two pictures and in your screenshots.

    Hi @mikes41720,

I know this feature but I don’t understand where the context is, because the feature change, as it should, the URL-structure but then the response-function doesn’t work anymore. I don’t know what I should else wrote here, that I didn’t in the posts above. I mean, I’m testing the case in four different Worpdress-Stages…

I found in the forum here a post with this code-snippet
    add_filter( 'wpseo_remove_reply_to_com', '__return_false' );

to disable the hidden feature and then it works. But in my opinion that’s only a workaround.

btw. with the new 18.2 Version the problem still exist

    @suascat_wp

I deactivate all plugins instead of Yoast-Seo-Plugin Vers 18.1 and switch to the theme twenty-twenty-one, but the problem is still there.

In the next step I download the versions 1.80 and 1.79 to see if the problem is solved with an older version. It isn’t.

Then I try to deactivate functions in the plugin in version 18.1, with no effect.

So in the next step, I try to comprehend the error in another WordPress-Installation, which I used for another project. The installation is actual WordPress 5.9 and has no plugins installed. Theme for the test was twenty-twenty-one.
I installed Yoast-Seo Plugin and just activate it and the error is there.
If I deactivate the Yoast-Seo Plugin I can reply to a comment.

On a last try I made a complete new WordPress-installation. New Database, New Subdomain, WordPress 5.9, Theme twenty-twenty-one, only plugin is Yoast Seo.
In this case there is no error, but the link-structure is different.

As I wrote in my first post, the structure in the installation I register the error was

    .../hallo-welt/#comment-7 and
    ...hallo-welt/?replytocom=7#respond

The same structure is in the other installation I descripe in this post.

But in the fresh Worpdress 5.9. installation the links looks in both cases like that: .../hallo-welt/#comment-1

The only different between the WordPress Installation 5.9 with no other plugins and the fresh Worpdress 5.9. installation is that the first one is updated from 5.8.X to 5.9

So I hope you have any ideas to solve my problem

    Hi again,

ok it seems that it depends on how many columns the gallery has.

    3 columns = 238 x 238 px https://volker-meint.de/testbeitrag-2-gallerie/

    4 columns = 180 x 180 px can you see in the Hueman-Demo
The thumps should have 300 x 300 px, but they are 180 x 180 px

    5 columns = 144 x 144 px https://volker-meint.de/test-gallery-2/

So any ideas how to fix that?

    Volker
