I was having the same issue, attempting to switch a site over to Elementor. Here’s what it is and what you can do.

First, Beaver Builder leaves this code on every page (top & bottom):

If you’re attempting to change page builders, etc. make sure to deactivate Beaver Builder. Then, click ‘edit’ on a page.

Click the 3 dots [more tools & options] (next to the settings icon in Gutenburg) and choose Code Editor. From there, you can delete the string <!– wp:fl-builder/layout –> on the top and bottom of pages and Save.

Bump…anything on this one yet?

I just downloaded the 1.5.0 version of the plugin here:

(scroll down to the very bottom and look for Previous Versions.

That got my site back so that I can now move it to my dev server and install Astra Theme. I’ll never use another theme that’s dependent upon a plugin in order to customize it.

Lesson Learned!!!

Would be nice to get a resolution from this developer, especially since I paid for his addons.

I forgot to mention that after inserting the shortcode, I can Preview the post and the album shows up perfectly but I cannot view it via the site itself. So, the sets only show on preview.
