Enter button should have worked, we are not sure what is wrong. Can you keep it enabled so that we can check it once at your website. May be something else is in conflict.

The problem may be due to error code 250. This means that in your MailChimp Account for the list you have specified, there is some extra field with ‘required’ property, and may be this required field is not supported by our plugin.

You need to drag and drop ChimpMate Widget to the required space at
WordPress Admin Panel -> Appearance -> Widget
