In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Suitable plugin to move images around date folders?I meant if the thumbnails are going to stay in the old folder or move along with the photos(or maybe they’re removed?). Not really a huge issue, just good to know before I try it out.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Suitable plugin to move images around date folders?Sorry to bother you again, but will I need to regenerate the thumbnails after moving? They’re all thumbnails in that post.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Suitable plugin to move images around date folders?Alright, thank you!
I know what post that has all the images in the wrong date folder, doing a search&replace on that post won’t be too difficult. As long as they’re moved properly on the server, along with DB, keeps all tags and metadata in the media library I’m happy!Just in case, is there a log file somewhere that I can keep a tab on while it’s moving everything to ensure nothing’s wrong?

In reply to: Blank page after URL change and permalink issuesA little update:
I somehow missed that www. was added into the public URL(not the installation location) after reverting or while it was saving for whatever reason, which was the root cause for the permalinks and redirect issue. Also the debug finally started logging after a while, but nothing useful.I don’t know what happened, but I also managed to successfully change the URL now without any problems. My only guess is that it glitched and somehow added a www. to the public URL(both were https://example.com/loggedin) or while I was troubleshooting around. But I really can’t recall ever adding that in at some point.
Well, was quite frustrating and stressful but I’m happy I managed to fix it!
Hopefully someone in the future can get help from this experience. But if the problem really was a glitch and not my own mistake, I do hope that no one else gets a www. thrown in when trying to change the URL.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Failed URL change, unable to login due to cookiesHello again, managed to fix the issue!
All you had to do was re-name the wordpress installation folder to the one you picked in settings, since wordpress doesn’t do that by itself.
Can’t believe I missed that, but I hope it helps anyone in the future!

In reply to: Failed URL change, unable to login due to cookiesThanks, I hope I do!
If nothing’s wrong in the DB, I’ll try some of the other approaches that required changing the theme files/core files next.

In reply to: Failed URL change, unable to login due to cookiesI tried deleting the plugins cache, no difference.
And now of course the DB is throwing me out.. Sigh. I’ll get back to this later and hope the host has resolved the DB connection errors.

In reply to: Failed URL change, unable to login due to cookiesHello, thanks for the reply!
I’ve tried contacting them, and they couldn’t help. Only option I got from them was to restore from an earlier backup, but then I’d loose quite some work.
There doesn’t seem to be any space on the first line, no.
I have WP Super Cache installed, could that be the issue?
I tried defining the URL when it failed the first time in the panel, I’ve verified the siteurl in the DB and I don’t have W3 cache.
