I think it’s because I had changed WordPress Address (in General settings on the Dashboard) from https://traduisons.com/WordPress to https://traduisons.com instead of changing the Site Address, so it was looking for the login file on the root.

I’ve copied all the WP core files back to root again…
Got access to wp-login, changed WordPress Address back to https://traduisons.com/WordPress… and got it all back.

Now to try again…

I’d like to support Jose’s question as I am in a similar situation, & suggest that WPML find a way to allow total development under the latest commercial version with payment due on launch/publishing. It is essential to get all the potential hitches out of the way in a tight development schedule, as well as ensuring return for WPML’s development. Some kind of remote key associated with the host domain? Maybe related to SEO capacity?

Solved. After exploring all the differences between this and another site of mine where it was working (on POP), the problem turned out to be with the host server having “disabled” PHP mail! (How/why I have not yet found out).

It’s code. It doesn’t make sense to me that it can only be used once unless it’s some kind of self-replicating function.

How do we know? We have to purchase it before we can join your forum!

Just to say, a re-install question advised me to empty the db, but I have no db related to WP on my server and no phpmyadmin apart from my host phpmyadmin. It looks like the “installation” is just a bunch of files. I’m tempted to delete & install again..?

OK. It’s months later, I do not know what User name I used, what e-mail address or of course what password I used (tried all the obvioius ones & nothing works), but I have installed & have access to all via my FTP. What now?
