Meanwhile found the problem.

You fill termmeta with the translated version of the text on install, based on the language used at this moment. that way we have german in termmeta and changing things to __() based on user_locale does not work.

looks like we will reinstall supportcandy in english and change the display to users locale here. I do not want to change the plugin to something else.

If Slim Stat -> Track Client Info is enabled the problem occours.

Found the problem. If Slim Stat Analytics Plugin is active this happens. Unsure how to solve this?

Should be easy also in German. Just add something into the fields. I will make a friendship request and at least afterlogout / login links on the profile page will stop working.

Have to add one thing more. If a deactivate / reactivate the plugin it works till the user logs out and relogin. Then it stops working.

If needed i can change WP default language to english for the time testing.

Wanted to add. If I use the members page “my friends” works, but “I follow” does not.
