Hello @andredane,
The data from both sections is pulled from the same place, so we can not speculate why the timeout occurs.
The best course of action is to submit a support ticket in your Client Area at Siteground if you do not manage to find the exact plugin/rule that might be causing the issue.
Regards,
Vladimir
Hello @nielk,
You can leave a particular setting disabled and still benefit from the rest of the features offered by our plugin.
For more information of how to properly exclude certain script/s and to find its handler, please check the following thread:

Hello @alxmedia,
Our developers are aware of the mentioned glitch and they are actively working on a solution. At the current time, we are unable to provide an exact ETA for when this issue will be resolved.
In the meantime, you can downgrade the plugin to its previous version(7.4.6) where the mentioned settings changes should be working as expected.

Vladimir
There is no need to login to your WordPress backend in order for you to use wp-cli. Since your website does not seem to be hosted at Siteground, please check with your current hosting provider of how you can login to your account via SSH. You should be then able to temporary deactivate the 2FA option of the plugin.
Regards,
Vladimir
Hello @eskorwerbeagentur,
I would recommend you to update the plugin to the latest version as well as to clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
In case the issue persists, you can try to disable/enable the two factor authentication via wp-cli:
wp sg secure 2fa disable

Hello @emma24,
Serving the contents over the secure HTTPS protocol ensures that the information exchanged between your website and its visitors is encrypted and won’t be intercepted by third parties. The mentioned 2FA feature works as an extra security layer, so it is expected the site to run via https.

Hello @michaelgli,
By default your WordPress login page can be accessed by anyone. You can use the functionality to allow access to wp-admin only from your IP address. If you use a dynamic IP address, then you can whitelist the range of possible IPs that your ISP may assign to avoid any problems accessing the WordPress admin panel.
You can add your IP addresses via:
WordPress Dashboard > Security Optimizer > Login security > Login Access > Configure
In case, the issue persists, please submit a support ticket in your Client Area at Siteground and we will be glad to help.

Hello @generosus,
You can leave the particular setting disabled and still benefit from the rest of the features offered by our plugin.
However, according to the article that you have provided, it is also noted that it is up to the user to decide what to use based on his needs.
Have in mind that using more than one optimization plugin on your application is not recommended since this could lead to potential conflicts.

Vladimir
