Is there any permanent solution to this? I have iThemes Security on most of my sites, and it would be a huge problem even to apply this patch, let alone to disable plugin or this feature. Not to mention security implications of this

I didn’t save wp-scan output, but I did save backdoor file I have found in gallery folder.
I’m not sure if it is of any help.

I have scanned it with wp-scan tool and it told me that there is a security risk linked with plugin.
After that I have downloaded everything connected with plugin to my computer and scanned it with antivirus. Result was 2 backdoor files inside gallery folders that I removed

Also there is this plugin, but i have never tried it.

This is how I would do it.
1. I would install plugin called Exec-PHP.
2. Use facebook graph api to get feed from page: (first you have to get accesss token). than you have to write PHP script to parse JSON from url

I think page name is OK too.
3. Paste script to Exec PHP.

Maybe there is some easier way but than I am not aware of it ??

Basically srcipt is very simple and it is something like this:

$page = "your page ID or username";
$url = "https://graph.facebook.com/". $pageID ."/feed";
$json = file_get_contents($url); //get json content
$feedarray = json_decode($json); //decode json

foreach($feedarray->data as $post) { //loop through array
		$message = $post->message;
		echo $message;
}

You can make it more complicated by adding links, but it is not much of a programming. Just take a look at JSON structure at https://developers.facebook.com/

You can insert gellery to any page using shortcode like this
[ nggallery id=x ]
And you can set default view to be gallery or slider.
I don’t know what are you using it for, but i think this is closest thing i can think of right now.

You should maybe try Ushahidi. It is not a WP plugin. I don’t know if there is something you look for in form of WP plugin.
