I have the wp-content/uploads folder set to 755. WordPress was able to create subfolders and files no problem. However all files are automatically created with 775 permission. How do I have WordPress save uploaded files only with 664?

Yes it was a post from my author scoped account. So, when logged in under the author account I should be able to delete the post I created. In fact another author brought this to my attention (and thus my testing under my author account.) Again, I can delete that same post by going to the Edit screen and hit Delete This Post from there.

The code below did it.

This one is not working either:
