I do like the Flipclock you selected very much and wouldn’t want to (or could) recommend anything better really ??

My thinking was more in line for someone that enjoys something minimalistic and slick-looking (which your plugin does an awesome job at) and doesn’t require a supremely animated clock in the dashboard but more something in line with a simple status that tells me the uptime, it wouldn’t even need to be real-time, if this is what makes a javascript clock necessary?

Anyways, excellent job with this, there really isn’t anything that comes close to this for WordPress and I will donate a bit your way next month!

I don’t think I understand Mike. So far, I have edited plenty of php files and then just put them in the corresponding folder of my child theme and it worked just fine, despite updates being rolled out. As far as I know, this is what you recommend anyhow? Isn’t this the same case here?
