I’m skeptical. If that were true then I’d expect that the various WP security watchdog sites to which I subscribe, like WordFence and Solid Security, would have found and published such a dangerous exploit by now. The increase in downloads is more likely due to its release of its V2 plugin in March and promotion of its new Bunny Offloader service.

One question though. For local subdomain policy reasons, we keep our subdomains limited to 3 characters, i.e. “dev”, “www”, and “sta” (staging). Will that “sta.XXX” subdomain still be counted under the single-domain license?
