Tonight there was an update to WordPress from Godaddy. I updated and then updated the 2014 and 2013 (I think) themes. Then I tried installing the Wordfence plugin.
I got the same message that it couldn’t install because the folder already existed as before. So, my brandywinepops.org still doesn’t have the access to the Wordfence dashboard.
Thanks for follow-up.
Gary
Dear sfdave,
I have put 3 files in the following location on my OneDrive account in a public folder
https://1drv.ms/f/s!Aj3Bq69HP_Gag2icFvEZICim6Bvs
for your review. The one brandywinepops.org.jpg is the menu from the website that does not show the wordfence dashboard. I also have another website and it’s menu showing the wordfence dashboard is shown in the image rootbeertogo.com.jpg.
The last image is brandywinepops_wordfence_alerts and shows the types of messages I get from attempted logins. I would use the wordfence tools to block these attempted attacks manually.
I don’t have a list of the updates performed. I do remember updating Jetpack on both of these websites. I use the same theme on both of them and there may have been updates to other themes, but of this I am not certain. My usual process is to accept the updates to any installed plugins and/or themes when they become available.
I hope you are able to find a way to correct this situation. Looking forward to your advice.
Regards,
Gary
I am not sure how to send you the screenshot. I have a jpg of the menu, but it does not past in this text box. Please advise.
