I followed your reset instructions under PHPMyAdmin
But when I got to the WP-Options, here’s what shows up on the pulldown menu:

wp_options
Columns
Columns
New
autoload
option_id
option_name
option_value
Indexes

When I click either option_name or option_value, there’s a box where I can change the number. Currently under name that box says 191 but under value that box is empty. I don’t see anything that says active_plugins
What to do? I know a plugin is messing up the site.

Not true. I’ve been on WP for 5+ yrs and they always auto update.
The dashboard also always contained an option to update to the latest version of WP.
Both are now gone from the top of the page.
My question for WP….am I now going to have to upload files, etc to update the platform? That’s really ridiculous…taking 1K steps backwards.
Please advise ASAP.

I gave up on trying to insert into the header. If you visit the blog page, you’ll see I have it in the sidebar.

Maybe the developer will add it to the header in the future – hint hint wherever they are ??

Thx – after searching around – realized I needed to add the theme widget in order to use them.

Same is not true, however for Services Widget – there are no icons to select

OK…description is misleading because it appears the slider can be the header in the free version. Maybe you should clarify.

I was able to get around with SP Header Slider plugin for now. Will possibly upgrade theme later.

Thanks. I added this to the section CSS and to each image CSS. I reduced to 160px just to try and nothing happened.
