I am running Php 7 with your latest version, so, in theory, this problem should not be happening, right?

mm.. I was looking at the WP logs..not WC so

I had a quick look at the WC ones and this is what I found:

I will do as you suggest. However what I have isolated that the issue disappears when I disable the /WC-AC Hook/ plugin.
There is definately a conflict there.
I will do some testing over the weekend.

I had a look at the footer php file ( both in the child theme and the main one just in case!) and I saw nothing about gravity scan in there.

I deleted the free version and installed the pro version…no change.
frustrating!

The logs are not kept for more than 24 hours.

The double log in installed will be lifted to see if problem reoccurs,,then logs will be kept.

Well Wyfan, the reason is that I got NO response for 6 days from you or anyone else. I believe that for the kind of issue I experienced this is not reasonable –
especially when I see that you have responded to others within a very acceptable time period. I certainly dont like to do this ( and have never done this before) but I believe I had little choice

So I decided to up the ante.

@wyfann. I believed that WF would stop brute force attack. Are you saying that the what happened – as MDD hosting explained above is something that WF can’t/doesn’t deal with???

Where can I find the raw logs on the updated version?

@mountainguy2. I expect WF to not allow brute force attacks – look at data above that I quoted… is that ok?

What is your advice. My feeling now is to uninstall it as this software appears useless.

Yes, all that has been done as well as the the login security limits have been set up.

There is NOTHING in Blocked IPs . ( I use Wordfence on 3 sites and a familiar with its operation and setup. )

I find this all very disconcerting.
